Cannon character

Legolas in heir to the throne of Mirkwood, so logically if there is no Thranduil he would be King

I am an active role-player, Legolas would like to make the mighty forest as much as an image of Doriath as is possible in this Age, - as his grandfather Oropher, was of Doriath.

The voices of the trees sang in Legolas mind, the pine, sharp, resinous, green, the larch, graceful, and cool, the beech, smooth, clean, and proud, the oak, with its deep roots drinking of the waters under the forest, solid, ancient, - a stranger could not have seen him as he sat cross-legged on the brnach, against the rough bark, but for the faint gleam of his hair in the dimness, like fractured moonlight.

Applying for Mordor

Original Character: Eragon (I know this name is from another book but I am no good at making names) Eragon is an evil elf originally from Mirkwood when he worked for Sauron, but when Sauron went to Mordor, Eragon lost him, and was looking for him for ages, and by the time he found him, Sauron had been destroyed. So now he is the ruler of Mordor.

I should get this post because I am an active poster, I come on forums every day, so I would never forget to answer peoples posts and I will say when I am leaving for a while.

Sample post: Eragon got his sword out an ran into the battle, slaying many men as he ran. He got out his bow and started to pick off the archers from the wall. Soon they were all gone. He then ran up to the gate and slayed the guards so that the orcs could bring in the battering ram. (ps I don't usually god-mode like this)

Why you want to lead this country: Because I do have an understanding of the culture and I abseloutely cringe when the leader assigned to Rohan tends to be someone who thinks that they did littlre more than ride around on pretty horses.

Why we should choose you to lead this country: I am an active poster who is willing to actually learn and not just make up facts, as in if I don't know something I will research it or seek out someone who would. I also have quite a few years of experience at various sites.

How often can you be online?: This is going to be tricky since in about 2 weeks I am going to be gone for a good portion of the summer and I can't promise that I will be on everyday becuase I am not certain of what the computer access story is going to be, so I can say for now whenever I can be, becuase I am currently out of a job until this new one starts, go me :D

Sample Post:

There was only one movement, only one sign of life. A lone figured staggered, almost falling but catching themselves again and continuing on. Eyes wide and unbelieving, Anwyn surveyed what had once been her home. Blood trickled from a cut on her head, mingling in with her blonde hair. The concussion muddled her thoughts as she struggled to understand what had happened, she did not remeber the blow to the head she had received from an Orcs club, she did not remeber the screams of terror from around her. There was no memory of her fathers desperate pleas to her to get out while there was still time.

This looks good, Anwyn! I really like the sample post. I'll accept you as leader of Rohan, but if you get more members of Rohan and you find you're going to be away for a good portion of the time, you will need to appoint someone who can look after things while you're away.

Why you want to lead this country: I've been RPing on some other sites but I never played a silvan.

Why we should choose you to lead this country: I have a fairly good knowledge about LOTR and I'm an active poster.

How often can you be online?: I can be online everyday. Honestly, I don't have much life outside the internet.

Sample Post: Amanwe clutched his spear impatiently as a company of Orcs was approaching, partly from impatient, partly from nervousness. He took a quick glance at his men faces, some were impetuous, some were calm, the rest were nervous. The foot steps of the Orcs grew louder, along with the noise of metal clashing. Soon, they came into his sight, clad in rusty mails, bearing rusty weapons. "Gurth gothrim lye!" He cried, volleys of arrows whistled through the thin air from the talans above his head. Then the silvans charged, wielding spears and swords. It was a moment of confusion, Orcs after orcs fell. Noises of the wounded crying filled the air, mostly came from the Orcs. Then everything ended, dead silent surrounded the elves. The invaders are gone.

Still, we only have rulers in a ratio of 2:3, so evil isn't too outnumbered.

Why you want to lead this country: I've always been facinated by the Vanyar.. I don't know why x) I just find them interesting in Tolkien's works.

Why we should choose you to lead this country: Well, because I find the Vanyar so interesting, I study anything I can about them. I come online every day for hours on end, I post at least once (usually more) each day.

How often can you be online?: As I said, I come online every day. I go to an online virtual school, so I'm on 24/7... And I'll be on even more since I just got a sweet new computer for Christmas :D

Sample Post: Círdan stood upon the end of the dock, his eyes gazing into the west. In his mind he traced the imaginary path he had followed so many times to Valinor. With a sigh he turned around and headed back towards the buildings of the Havens. Not many resided here, for any elf that took up home in the Grey Havens soon became weary from the call of the sea and sailed west.
Círdan himself always wondered why he never felt the call... Was it because he had been one of the first elves born? Or perhaps it was because he sailed there on a regular basis and always new he'd end up their sooner or later? Whatever the reason, it always continued to ellued him...
