It is the Fourth Age of Middle Earth.
The One Ring has been destryoed: Sauron has been defeated.
But evil has yet toleave the shores of Middle Earth.
For rumours of a second ring, one with as much power as the One Ring but with no ties to the Dark Lord have been flying about Middle Earth. And now, a frantic search, "the Race for the Ring" has begun, with each member of the fellowship having been sent to a different kingdom and warning them to begin the search...
But whether evil or good will find the ring first, is yet to be revealed...
Other Notes:
After the Witch King was killed, a new threat rose to take his place: The Witch Queen. She has taken control of the Black Riders at Angmar.
Thranduil's men have driven the evil out of Mirwood and renamed it Eryn Lasgalen, taking back the stronghold of Dol Guldur and making it once more into a palce of light.
